I'm down with this weird sleeping pattern that left me bumming around in the middle of the night. These days, I'll usually get home, bathe, then lie in the most comfortable zone in my room (bed). Unconciously, I'll doze off into lala-land....whaahhaa. And as a usual night owl, I'll wake up in the middle of the night, let's say about 2 - 3am, feeling wide awake. This is a not good not good situation, coz I've got to force myself back to sleep again so as to survive the next working day....duh. What is happening to moi?! =(
Everything is piling up, my work, my stuffs, magazines, uni brochures, and my SIP report. It's gonna be due in less than a month and I'm clueless about it. There goes me procrastinating again..... I'll probably get it done a week before? or maybe a few days before....hope so....=/
I surprised myself by surviving attachment for a whole 3 months, and we're actually only left with 16 more days to go~~ Jump and cheer fellow classmates!!! Yay!! But with the coming end of attachment marks a new turning point which requires some decision making. And being a libran, decision-making is one thing I hate most ok?! My manager asked me today, whether I wanted to continue working there after my attachment or further my studies. I told him I have not decided and maybe will reply next week. But seriously, I don't visualize myself continue working there, the job itself doesn't interest me. I just don't know, *shrugs*. Maybe I need some time to sort out....and you, stop nagging at me..... =(

Went to xiaopang's house yesterday to do some recording for her flash storybook. I'm supposed to read out the storybook, so that she could record and incorporate into her flash. Duh, wonder why must it be my voice....i think my voice sounds funny over the recording, doesn't sounds like me...hahaa. And yeah, her rabbits had grown sooooo fat ever since I last saw them.
I'm longing for Thursday to come quickly....coz it's PAYDAY~!! And with all those events and activities I've been involved in recently, I really need cash....wahahhaha. No Internet for the day~!!! I've been cooped up in the office with no internet access today, and it's very very boring. =(Apparently, there's something wrong with the network card and the IP configuration as I've changed my sitting position. The administrator would need to reassign another IP or something like that which had to be done in the server room, which I had no direct access to. But they're all so busy with the migration of the other department to our side that they've forgotten all about me, so I went sms-ing all day....whhahaha
Anyway, went to catch "I not stupid" at PS after work today. I know I'm abit slow (maybe not abit but very), but I had problems trying to find people to go watch a local movie, people like him. It's a great show, one that reflects so much of today's society. I remembered a commentator saying on tv, that he watched til cry, and from cry to laugh, and so on. I'm pretty much the same, whahahaa. And I've still got so many movies to catch, where are you? hahahaha, bleh

I wanted so much to blog about something, but I just can't. Don't ask me why.
Took leave to attend this education seminar in school. They were giving a talk on furthering your education in Australia. I'm still so much undecided as to what I'm gonna do after graduation. Pursuing a degree would involve the $$ issue, and yet, on the other hand, working straight after graduation would seem so....urgh... Nah, I'm such a lazybum. >_<
One good thing about going back to school would be meeting my friends, and I suddenly felt so good to be back in school again. Had my favourite chicken spaghetti with cheese today @ ITAS canteen, and I think I saw you. Bet you don't know who's me..heh. It's great yet weird to be back in school today, great coz I missed the days, weird coz of the numerous unfamiliar faces whizzing past me.
My computer's acting up again, my icq can't work, giving me illegal operation and stuffz like that. I can't access yahoo mail, is it juz me or is it down? Better be up and running soon, else I'll format you...

I felt somewhat lost yesterday without the ability to view my webby, much less say to blog. And while I was surfing other websites with the same plight as me, it suddenly dawned on me that DH might be down. And true enough, it was down for a whole more than 24 hours. Nah, luckily I was out practically the whole day, which didn't give me much of a chance to think about my webby.
I had a fully-packed day yesterday, and this implies that I spent a lot. And if you asked me, I'm pretty much broke now...=( No more outings for me until my next pay day!! Note that everybody!
A recap on yesterday's activities:
2pm - Everybody met up @ Raffles Place, proceeded to Far East Square to have the so-called famous [Ya Kun's Kaya Toast].
3pm to 6pm - Went to one of the KTV around that area, we sang songs for the whole 3 hours, with Felica emerging as the KTV queen...hiak hiak.
6pm to 9pm - Changed buses here and there, finally got to Chomp Chomp!! Yay!! Food food, glorious food. We had 3 sting rays, carrot cake, hokkien mee, satays, chicken wings and sugarcane juice! All are so yummy, especially the sugarcane, for being so fresh, and kudos to the stingrays, for having good sambal chilli sauce. =D
9pm to 12am+ - Proceeded to BroadWalk @ MS for some drinks. And that "some drinks" actually totalled up to 8 jugs....We were playing this poker card game as usual, and David Tan aka Rabbit Tan!! Although you don't have to drink, you don't have to keep sabo me!! *sob sob*Now, do you understand what I meant by a fully packed day and why I'm broke? =( I'm so broke that I had to stay indoors today, til payday comes~!

Preparing to sleep...ZzZzzz
Juz came back from SLS after buying my pouch for my digicam. It turned out that my friends are suddenly interested in buying a digicam too! Took a look at the Canon Ixus, tested it, played with it, made me having second thoughts. But I still love my digicam all the same. =D
Came back and solved this big "X" thing, turned out that I really can see it at home. To be sure, I asked a few pals to try it out, and it works. Yay!! Hope it works for all....hopefully. And my counter finally reached that 2000 mark, hooray! Whoever's that 2000th visitor, thanks alot for that! And for everybody else, you've been a great supporter. =)

Drinking: Sparkling ribena
Drinking ribena never fails to put me in a good mood. Moreover, I got home early today as I didn't have to work OT (as expected, hee). My sup went on leave, and my manager went on a half-day leave. So all of us were pretty in a world of our own today. In fact, the whole team knocked off early which was NOT their usual style. *hooray* It's been a long while ever since I last saw the evening skies and I truly appreciate it this time round.......
Jo got tempted by my new digicam and wanted to get one for herself too. Somehow, I just can't make any good recommendations as I'm still an amateur in this area. =( Recommended a few websites for her, but still can't come to a decision. Anyway, I'm rather happy with my 5-day old digicam...hee. Uploaded a few shots again....That's all folks! It's Thursday tomorrow! =)

I didn't have to work OT today! That's something to cheer about. *hooray* I've got to meet my friends for dinner @ MS, that's why I couldn't stay. Well, I did stay back for about 45 minutes to finish setting up the live DNS server. Phew! Lucky it worked, else I might not even get to meet them for dinner. I think I'm ok with the idea of working OT for maybe one hour or so, but definitely not up til 9+ or 10+ in the night. It's a no-no for me. HE (my sup) would be on leave tomorrow, and that means I might not have to work OT tomorrow, hehe. =)
Anyway, we had our dinner and proceeded to Coffee Club. It tastes...quite ok I guess. The cheese cake's fantastic, and I'm usually not one for cheese cakes. I'd prefer oreo cheese cakes *yummy*. Took some pictures along the way, my digicam went low batt...urgh~ Realised that my digicam's not so good with taking night pictures, some turn out good, but some just turn out dark. =/
Pros:

- can be taken at 3 different sizes
- affordable price range for these specs
Cons:
- LCD tend to look dark especially with dark lightings or night time, have to depend on viewfinder to view. In the day's working fine.
- night pictures doesn't turn out that distinct. not enough white balance?? *don't know*
But overall, it's generally a good camera. =) Nitez all, gonna hit the sack.....

My Digicam Expedition
Oh yeah yeah yahoo!!! I've finally got my digicam, one down my wishlist at last! It's a Minolta E203 model, with 2 Mega Pixels and 3x optical zoom, 2x digital zoom. Searched through practically the whole of Sim Lim Square for the best price available with Mr Eeyore and his family. Basically, I think the sales people there are pretty superficial, and most of the time, they'll just confuse you or quote you a horrendous amount. =/ You see, this is what happened.....
First, we stumbled across this particular shop at a particular corner with bright yellow "shop headers" - zhao Pai (don't know the correct word in English lar...). And so, we proceeded to enquire about this particular Minolta digicam. This uncle showed us the model and we started talking about it. He quoted $450, and promised to add another 64MB MMC for $485. Naturally this was supposed to be the best quotation available, but we wanted to look around first. Then he began to try convince us that Minolta is not good, and started recommending the more expensive models, like $800+. We were like telling him our budget's not that much, and we didn't expect to buy such a high-end digicam. He was still adamant, and insisted that forking out an additional $300+ would enable us to buy a more "quality" digicam. He made it sound as if $300+ is peanuts. Hey, $300+ would be half of my monthly attachment allowance ok?? We left the shop to source for better ones and most of the sales people there said that this Minolta would be rather value for money, especially with our budget in mind. And with 2 mega pixels and 3x optical zoom, it wouldn't really go that bad to what the uncle had said. But sadly, these other shops doesn't quote a better price than that uncle, so we decided to go back and purchase from there. Yeah, we went back, and finally when me, a libran had finally made a decision, HE (uncle) had to cause my confidence to waver again. He made Minolta sound so bad as if it would spoil the very moment I bought it. Arggh!! And he went on promoting his more expensive digicams. In the very end, we insisted on the Minolta and he said, "That's the only one left, only the display set and I don't have the box, no cables nothing" So irritating...seriously, we think that he doesn't want to sell it to us, coz he'd be making a loss if he did. $485 for the digicam and 64MB MMC is quite a good bargain lor....Anyway, we bought our digicams from another shop. It's $450 for the model, and $45 for a 32MB MMC. In all, one set would cost us $500. The uncle was rather straight forward, and actually gave us discounts here and there. I felt a whole lot happier buying from this uncle than the previous one! Stupid, fat liar uncle. Bleh! Just in case you were wondering, Mr Eeyore also bought the same model as me. =D
$500 gone like that, my bank account's poorer now. Waiting for my next month pay, hope that 28 March would come quickly! So far, this the most expensive item I've bought, and next on the list would be Nokia 8310. hiak hiak..... Now my digicam is my most prized possession, I'll bring it wherever I go, and take bit and pieces of my life with it. Hah, actually, I've already started on taking some "bo liao" pictures....preview here~

Oh yay!! I didn't have to stay until 10pm in the office today. Mainly because I finished part of it yesterday, and also spent the whole day trying to finish it. Maybe I'm fast, hehe. It's such a achievement for me being able to assemble the workstations, clone them, edited registry, assign hostname and IP, blah blah blah....all by MYSELF. llalalala, and you must note that I was NEVER a technical gal....so this's quite a feat for me ok? =) I'm such a clever gal!
I'll be going to a teaching seminar at Suntec tomorrow. Maybe I'll take the chance to look at some digicams too. And where are thou? You suggested going to Sim Lim tomorrow and you're missing right now. I think you must be sleeping like a PIG. =Þ
Anyway, I bought a off-shoulder top from Bum Equipment today. It matches pretty well with my website theme - Stars. You know what I mean? And Perlini's got this mega sale that got everybody crowding in that small store. I wanted to get something too, just couldn't get to see much from the people crowd. I must get something~~~ just didn't feel right not buying anything from that sale. =/

Trapped!
I know this is going to sound ridiculous. I'm trapped IN my own room. Arggh!! I can't believe it! I've been trapped out of my room before but never in my room. The lock's been faulty for days now, but it still worked as normal until today. I came home, entered my room, then closed the door. And when I turned back to open it again, I found myself trapped. Tried turning it clockwise and anti-clockwise and it didn't work. Mum and Dad's not at home, leaving only that brother of mine to laugh at my stupidity when I asked him to try open my door. Now I've got to wait till my mum's back to try find the keys to my door. And if that fails, I really don't know how I'm going to get out of my room, bathe and get ready to work tomorrow....
Talking about work, I did OT today again. I stayed back to clone the workstations using Norton Ghost so that I might be able to go home earlier tomorrow. Really hope so....don't really wanna work till 10 ya know? It's Friday night after all....
It's such an irony that Fridays used to be my joyous days of the week, and yet tomorrow it isn't going to be.....=/ Trapped, trapped, trapped. When will you be back with the keys?

I must have woke up at the wrong side of my bed this morning to receive so much bad news later in the day. First, I'm told to come in earlier every morning around 8.15am so that I could perform healthcheck on the server before operations start. And this means I have to wake up earlier than usual which is one thing I absolutely hate. Secondly, I've got to work OT today as something cropped up at the eleventh hour. There was something wrong with the stupid SQL thingy and ODBC, so I was there troubleshooting and re-installing all over again till 8.30pm. =/ Thirdly, came the worst news ever. I was informed to be prepared to work till 10pm or even later this Friday to install and configure 40+ workstations. And they even told me somebody worked till 2am in the past to finish it up. I feel like dying, will somebody please kill me? = Btw, the dark corridors in my company looks really eerie at night, don't even dare to go to the toilet after 7pm...>_<
Anyway, that's all for today I guess. Will be retiring early today so that I could wake up earlier tomorrow, hopefully.... Just received this in my inbox, found it rather meaningful. Maybe life would be betta if we juz learn how to appreciate it and make the best out of it. =)

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.

I sense "heatiness" burning in my body right now. I'm pretty sure an ulcer and a sore throat is coming my way soon, it's not a good feeling. I hate being sick, ulcers sucks, and I really hope I'm wrong this time, but the ulcer's already there. =( Gotta drink more water to cool down I guess, and that means making more trips to the pantry at work.
Encountered something rather interesting at work today. I received a Service Request Form from a CSO who was supposed to describe what was wrong with her system in order to let us rectify the problem. Generally, her problem was that her mouse is not functioning well and is hanged on the screen. So guess what she wrote? "The mouse went stiff, can't move at all" haha, went stiff? What does she expect? A soft mouse? =Þ Ok, I'm juz plain nasty, hehe. But I can't help it, it's funny sometimes to read the problems they describe in layman terms. You'll know if you read one. =D
I'm in a dilemma whether to purchase a digicam or my 8310 first. Both are equally on the top of my wishlist. Whenever I asked my friends for opinions, I'll get two equally favorable options. Some will say buy a digicam first, coz I don't have one at the moment and I already have a HP, so that can wait. Others would say it would be more practical to buy the HP first. Arggh....juz hate making decisions, typical libran. But maybe nokia 8310 could wait, coz it's still quite "buggy" at the moment, I was advised to buy it around June-July when it would be more "stable" then. Anyway, I'm still struggling to make a decision, maybe you could help? =/

Yay! I'm in a pretty good mood today coz I don't have to work tomorrow!! My manager asked me if I wanted off, and voila! I'm off for tomorrow. If you know me, it's pretty rare for me to be in a good mood on Sundays, coz of the Monday working day. =
Anyway, I got back from Jo's bbq @ around 1am yesterday, or rather 1am today. We were playing a card drinking game whereby the type of card you chose determines whether you drink, pour, or ask who to drink.
Diamond: You're ok, you don't have to drink, safe.
Clubs: You get to pour, any amount you want, into the cup.
Hearts: You've got to drink the whole cup, if there's anything in the cup left.
Spade: You get to point or sabo who you want to drink.
I guess it's pretty ok yesterday, although there were some people who went all red due to drinking too much. They should get home just fine. =) As for me, I think the more I drink, the paler I become, or I'd just stay the same. Maybe my blood circulation's not good, hahaha.
And Mr Eeyore's going to his friend 21st birthday dinner @ a chinese restaurant today wor....and here I am eating maggi mee. Pathetic huh? I see lotsa ppl turning 21 this year, going broke soon. *counting money*
That's all for now folks! I've got a pretty number of tasks to cover today: gotta tidy up my room, wash my clothes, read up on some installation guide....hmmm, not really much, but I like to procrastinate. tata~

Watching: Sun Yanzi - Unplugged concert
Oh yay!! I've finally finally got the blogging thingy up and running. It's working well now, or at least, I think it is. A new layout for you, mainly to incorporate with the blogging tool as well. It only works well with 1024 x 768 resolution, don't know about others, but I guess it should look pretty ugly with other screen resolution type. Sorry guys, I know it probably sucks, but this the best I can come up with so far. Hmmm....maybe when I've got time to figure out more on the blog tags, I'll try to come up with a better one. No promises though...=Þ
Watching Sun Yanzi's unplugged concert on Channel 8 now. Her songs are fantastic, I want I want to go to her concert in April!!!! Errr, maybe not, coz I can't find anybody to go with moi, =(.
I've gotta sleep early today, so that I can wake up early tomorrow to help Jo on her birthday bbq tomorrow. Yummy~ *thinking of food now* hee =)
